Notably, 76.7% of Latvia's manufactured chemical and pharmaceutical products are exported to countries like Japan, the USA, and Canada.
Pharmaceuticals dominate Latvia’s biomedicine exports, representing 27% of total industry exports. In 2023, Latvia generated a turnover of €240 million, which underscores Latvia’s growing role in the global pharmaceutical market and its capacity to meet international demand.
Role of the Investment and Development Agency of Latvia (LIAA)
